The RAMP Experience and the LCEsmartr Playbook
The Reliability & Asset Management Certification program content is aligned with industry standards and governance, including ISO 55000, GFMAM Asset Management Landscape, and the SMRP Body of Knowledge. The RAMP certification will prepare you with strategies and tools, including:
- An implementation guide with change management tools, sponsor attributes, coaching strategies, and metrics
- Reliability process maps and tools
- Responsibility charts and job descriptions
- eLearning and an online body of knowledge
Through three, 3-day classroom sessions and practical application over 9-12 months, the Reliability & Asset Management Professional certification offers the opportunity to interact with your peers and a subject matter expert coach as you share knowledge, discuss obstacles, and seek feedback on your reliability journey.
Between and during sessions, you will transform classroom concepts into business results by completing on-the-job application assignments, culminating in a Capstone work product to achieve the certification credential.
The Reliability & Asset Management Professional Certification includes access to LCEsmartr Playbook, LCE’s online reliability and maintenance program management system.
Throughout the course, LCEsmartr’s Implementation Guide tools and resources will be used in your Capstone work product to apply a proven process for achieving a culture of .

RAMP Capstone Work Product:
The Reliability & Asset Management Professional Capstone project is a work product requirement that demonstrates reliability program management competency through documented workplace application.
The work product includes:
- Operational assessment, gap analysis, and improvement plan
- Organizational change management plans
- Key performance indicator tracking and reports
- An A3 report presentation and defense of your project and results achieved
The work product will be submitted via an online portal. We recommend that candidates invite their leadership to attend the presentation and defense. Upon successful completion of the work product element, you will receive a university certificate and have the privilege of using the RAMP letters beside your name.
